H.P

I was a victim of the hype. Bought book 6 the last saturday, and managed to finish it with great difficulty over the weekend. The good part of the series is that it will get over by the next book. The average part of the book is most of it; lots of fluff, and I could skip tens of pages, and regain the thread of the plot quite easily. Books 2 & 3 imho, were the best, taut and to the point. The bad part being the end, where my favorite character dies.
Next book to wait for would be George R.R Martin's Feast of Crows,or R.J's book.

Voldemort is as much Harry's Mama as the Traffic Cop is mine....I guess.

People keep telling me how breezy and exciting the Harry Potter ride is. Its a pity I dont like breezy and exciting rides anymore.

Waiting for SuDepp to hit Bombay soil.

Isn't Robert Jordan dead yet?

Well, I happen to like breezy and exciting rides still... but have to agree this book was not that great.
And the death at the end seemed so contrived and unnecessary....
And the killer - even more so - Rowling seemed to want to get the point across that our great hero has better instincts than Dumbeldore himself...
Or maybe the surprise will be in the next book.... when "innocence" of the killer is proved.. :(

RJ, alive and kicking, and going strong for the umpteenth book( umpteen -> any book between 13 and 19 ), which shall be be coming up in a few years.

Yup, I also predict the innocence of the killer. Thats what comes with a staple diet of surprising twists in the end of each book, no longer the aha effect.

RJ is one lazy ass! I wonder what the heck is taking him so long to complete the series. Does he even write non-WOT books now to keep him busy??
