The State Govt has given us another present. Introducing the new flyover over the jayadeva cardiac hospital which will give heartaches for the people who travel beneath it.Evidently the patients rooms have been curtained so that they shouldnt witness the horrid jams.
The first thing you will notice about the flyover is that it has "risen from the dust".It's so dusty that it is as brown as the golden sand of an exotic eastern beach. It looks like it is already 53 years old.
But I should say that the take off part is pretty smooth.
But the first impression is like you'll feel like Schumaker (if you are in a 4 wheeler) or like John Abraham (if you have a bike and a gal) while climbing the flyover. The moment you descend it you will remember the age-old infy saying :-
"Traffic Jams can neither be created nor destroyed. They can be transferred from one place to another"
A huge jam awaits at the bottom of the flyover.
Anyway since my Jam Endurance Quotient(J.E.Q) is pretty high I watched the whole
scene with a lot of awe :)
Other than that,
I got to watch the movie Wild Strawberries (the one recommended by richie). It just makes you feel that if you live till a ripe old age it is more like a curse cos' the memories keep getting longer and life keeps getting shorter. It is a good movie and sort of timeless even though it is in black and white.
